Currently Coveting #1:

6.3.15

I've been into a real mix of drugstore and high end lately and there's a few products that I just can't get out of my mind. Here's what's been topping my lust list lately...

Barry M Kohl Pencil in Navy Blue:

I booked my tickets to Reading Festival in February and since then I've been pinning festival hair, makeup and fashion on a festival devoted Pinterest board ever since. With that in mind what better time than a festival to try out some fun and bright looks with eyeliner? Also since it's a festival I'd prefer to go for a cheaper brand so they don't get lost!

Beauty UK Eyeshadow Palette in Earth Child:

This is actually an eye shadow palette I bought myself a very long time a go. In fact I think it was my first eye shadow palette and lately I've been missing it a lot. I loved the colours and the colour pay off too. This would be the perfect every day palette if you're just starting out in make up.

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curlers:

Are there any bloggers that haven't raved about these eyelash curlers? I really think I should give them a go soon especially since the ones I'm currently using are near breaking point. One of the only things that put me of is the fact they're twenty pounds, I've heard it's worth the splurge though so I'm sure I'll be picking them up soon.

Bobbi Brown Blush:

I'll be honest I'm really not too fussy about the colour I'd like lately, I'd really like to give these a go though because everyone I know who owns one says they're amazing blushers. I feel like one day a Bobbi Brown blush would make a nice little high end treat for myself. If you guys have any colour recommendations then please let me know!

Marc Jacobs - Daisy:

I've been obsessing over this perfume for years. Those borrowed spritz's from friends and sneaky sprays in shops have been keeping the obsession alive for years but I don't actually know how it's taken me so long to decide I really do need to pick it up! I'm going to finish off a few perfumes that I've almost finished up so I can justify buying a bottle.

Are there any products you've been lusting after lately?

Filling the Gaps in my Makeup/ Makeup Wishlist:

14.11.14

Since I cleared out all of my make up I've been able to see where the gaps are and what I've got room to treat myself with. With that in mind this post is what I've been scrolling through the online shops for and drooling over most lately.

I can't remember a time when youtubers and bloggers weren't raving about these lipsticks and this shade in particular. With it coming up to the winter months where a nice dark lip is more wearable this is right up there on my wishlist, and nice and cheap compared to most of the other products I covet lately.

Rimmel Apocalips

Another cheaper product I've had my eyes on for a while now but also didn't realise I had any of was lip lacquers. I think I'd rather get some pinky colours with these and wait for Summer. Nonetheless because they're a gap in my collection I wan't feel too guilty when I do use them!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

I wanted the Naked 2 when that came out but saw that it was actually fairly similar to the first which I already had so when the 3 came out and it was all pinky purpley hues I thought now there are some colours I love and don't have. I definitely want to pick this up at some point in the future.

Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner

This is another thing I have never owned, as I'm allergic to liquid liner gel is something I've been a little dubious about trying just in case it has the same affect and I have to walk around with great big swollen eyes, but I'm going to brave it and give them ago. If it causes an bad reaction then at least I'll know and if it doesn't then there's a whole new world of eye liner I can explore!

Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel

This seems to be a love hate product and I'm curious as to whether I'd love or hate it, again I'll probably think more about purchasing it come Summer time. A cream bronzer is something I've never owned so to try it out is something I'm definitely interested in.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

I've never used anything from Hourglass, and this is something that many bloggers love to talk about. I also really love highlighters and a dewy, healthy face so even though this palette is really expensive it's something I would love to own one day.

Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette

Pretty much the exact same thing goes for this product, I'd love to have it one day but the price holds me back. I go through real phases with blusher sometimes I use them everyday and others they go untouched for weeks. I own almost nothing but cream blushes these days so some nice powder ones would be a nice addition to my collection.

Current Book Wishlist:

17.7.14

If you know me well then you'll know that curling up with a cup of tea and a book (as stereotypically British as that is) makes me a very happy girl indeed. I've actually had to put myself on a book buying ban because I've bought so many books that I've hardly read most of them because I can't keep up with myself. None the less, I still have a huge wishlist and I thought some of you may be interested. I've also done a post on my favourite "Chick-lit" books too.

The first is actually a set of books, Uglies, Pretties, Specials and Extras by Scott Westerfield, I've heard that if you like The Hunger Games then you'll like these books, and I more than like The Hunger Games, so I definitely want to give these a read. The novels were actually brought out before The Hunger Games trilogy but that was when I was much younger and still perfectly happy with my Jacqueline Wilson and nothing else, but now I've grown and my tastes have changed. I'll admit I know next to nothing about the stories, but it comes highly recommended.

This is another of my obsessions shining through, I'm in love with the show Wicked and as soon as I found out it had been based on a book I knew I just had to read it! If you don't know what it's about then, basically Gregory Maguire is telling the story of how the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz became "Wicked". I won't say anything about the story so as not to ruin anything for you but it's an amazing musical and so hopefully and amazing book too. I'm not even that big a fan of The Wizard of Oz as it is yet I love Wicked so don't let that put you off.

Can you tell I'm a musical fan? If you follow me on Twitter then you'll know that all I do is tweet about wanting to see Les Mis on stage, I have both the movie and the 25th Anniversary edition on DVD and I also really want to read the book. I know it's crazily thick and I'll probably have to read something happy and funny afterwards to recover but I'm still really interested to see how they made a musical out of a book and see what the original story was.

I must have picked this book up in Waterstones but then put it down again soon afterwards, convincing myself I really don't need another book about a million times. Now though, I just think if I've picked it up so many times and wanted it for so long I really should get it. It's about a man who dies and meets 5 people when he gets to heaven who explain to him how he's reached their lives in one way or another. I think it sounds like a really nice book, the kind that you read and feel relaxed. I may well be wrong having not read it but there's only one way to find out.

A Casual Vacancy, quite simply because I'm curious. What did J.K do after Harry Potter? I'm not sure whether I'll like this book or not because I'm worried all I'll be able to think is this isn't Harry Potter! Hopefully, J.K.Rowling will be talented enough to make me forget about that as I read and just focus on the story at hand.

That's all for this wishlist (or at least I thought I'd keep it at five because if I wrote about all the books I wanted we'd be here all day). What about you? Do you have any recommendations for me? If you do please leave them in the comments I'm always looking for new books because they're one of my many obsessions. See you next Saturday!
