LUSH Skincare Haul:

20.7.15

A while ago I bought an almost entirely new skincare routine from LUSH, as always the experience was amazing and all the lovely ladies in there had us chatting away about everything and anything while giving us the chance to try out products and see which would work best for us. My friend and I were in there for well over an hour and had amazing time. As well as some free samples and a free Butterball bath bomb that they really didn't have to give us I wanted to show you what else I added to my basket.

The Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Ease hair treatment is to be used before washing and was recommended to me because of my curly hair. As you can see I've made my way almost entirely through the giant tub already! I honestly don't think I've ever used a product that's made such a noticeable difference on my hair. Not only does it look much healthier and shinier but my curls look much more bouncy and defined too as well as it being much easier to manage and feeling much softer. I can definitely see myself going to pick up another tub of this very very soon.

For evening cleansing I picked up the Ultrabland Cleanser, and I enjoy this one too but I'm not 100% sold on this one. It does leave my skin feeling nourished since it's packed full of almond oil and bees wax but I also find that I still wake up with mascara round my eyes and I'm left with an oily residue that leaves my skin feeling a little oily and heavy before bed.

In terms of the morning  I asked for something that was both soothing but would also help remove dead skin. The Angels on Bare Skin Face and Body Cleanser was added to my basket. It's a solid concoction of rose, lavender and camomile that needs to be mixed with water and rubbed over the face, the ingredients soothe the skin and even out skin tone (something that I have definitely noticed in my face) and the lavender gently removes any dead skin without your face feeling too harshly scrubbed. This is definitely a product I would recommend to a friend.

The Enzymion moisturiser I've been using both mornings and nights and has fast become my top moisturiser. It's extremely hydrating and refreshing since it has a citrus scent to it, but it sinks in so fast that other than the soothed feeling you could never tell you've just moisturised something I really enjoy as it means I can go straight in with my makeup if I ever need to.

Last, but by no means least, is the Eau Roma Water. Again this is lavender based and so really soothes the skin. I love the feel of using this and genuinely look forward to using it before bed to soothe me. I prefer to spritz it over my face as it is so much more refreshing that way. Again this is a product I can see myself adding to my basket again very soon.

As you can see I ended up picking up a lot of things but I honestly feel like my skin has been given an entirely new lease of life. Other than the cleanser I am head over heels with every product and my skin has never been happier.

Review: La Roche - Posay Effaclar Duo:

11.4.15

Moisturiser has never been anything I've been overwhelmed by, don't get me wrong I've certainly been impressed by one or two and even repurchased a couple but never have I had one that has left me genuinely looking forward to using it again the next day, until now that is.

La Roche-Posay is a brand that I've heard of before from many a bloggers review for their wide range of skin care benefits. I heard wonderful things about the good they do to blemish prone skin which sadly before now I have never had to deal with. A few months a go now I picked up the Effaclar Duo on nothing more than a whim in Boots and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results.

The products is mainly focused on acne prone skin so it really does pack a punch when beating spots, but I haven't found it to be too harsh because of this. My skin isn't so bad to call it acne just a few spots here and there that leave bad red marks. The formula claims to be unclogging so no only does it help remove spot but prevents new ones breaking out too. It also contains an anti-irritant which helps remove redness, as well as boasting benzoyl peroxide amoung it's ingredients meaning it really does remove spots. You may think that all of this would really strip your skin but that is so far from the truth. I find that it sinks in super fast but still leaves your skin feeling well moisturized and light. Not like you never used a product in the first place.

I found that in the long run the constant use of this product has given me the confidence to bare my skin to the world much more often. I feel much more confident in my own skin now and I really would say it's thanks to this product.

Have you used this product before? Let me know your thought, good or bad!

Bedside Beauty #2:

14.3.15

I've put up one of these posts before and it seemed to go down very well. Since then however, almost all of the products that I like to keep at arms reach have changed. With that in mind why not take another look at my bedside beauty?

Garnier Summer Body:

I've been using this as a light tanning lotion lately and I really like it, it's very natural and gradual which means that streaking is not an issue. If you want to start trying out tans then I'd recommend this as a first product.

Right Guard Women Ultra Cool:

I much prefer antiperspirant's to deodorants, I don't really see the point in using a product designed only to cover up the smell of sweat instead of just one that stops you sweating. This one fro Right Guard works really well I find.

Soap & Glory Hand Dream Super Cream:

I find this to be a really good hand cream. It doesn't sink in as fast as the Hand Food does but nonetheless it does good to the hands and smells nice as do most Soap & Glory products. This products is perfect to apply just as I head out the door on the way to work or University.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius:

I've mentioned this one a million and one times and I'm sure you guys know by now my feet have little to no circulation so after I get in bed I like to use this foot cream. I find that it has a nice cooling effect when I've been on my feet all day but not so cooling that I end up with cold feet. It also really helps smooth out dry skin.

Botanics Micellar 3 in 1 Ultra Calm:

I keep this one by my bed because there are many a night when I've gone through a busy day from an early rise for University to working the night shift at work where by the time I'm at home in bed I just can't bring myself to do a full cleanse and this I can do in bed with no water which is just so much easier. I will say one thing though do no get this in your eyes! It stings like nothing I've ever felt sting before!

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel:

For the days when I'm not left near collapse by night time and I'm doing a proper cleanse I use this cleanser instead. I enjoy it so much it's been given a full review here so do go and give it a look.

Skinesis Overnight Facial:

This too has a full review so again here is the link if you want a indepth look at the product.

Laroche- Posay Effaclar Duo:

I think I've found my dream day cream in this product. It tackles both my blemishes and my dry skin, as well as evening out my skin tone in the long run of use. I really want to give this a full review in the near future so if that's something you'd be interested in then please do let me know.

VO5 Nourish My Shine:

I've mentioned this one over on my Youtube a few times and this too has it's own review.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum Original:

If you have curly hair then you'll know that usually one serum is just not enough. This one I like to use when my hair is still wet to prevent it from drying into a frizzy disaster. It works very well and I'd say that with the amount of heat I've been using on it lately it must be part of the reason my hair is not covered in split ends at the moment.

The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray:

I know you may be bored of reading this by this point but here is the full review of this wonderful little spray. I've been using this so much more lately since I've been going on so many nights out with my friends lately.

LUSH  Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter:

I'll admit I've been using this product less and less lately but I still keep it by my bedside for when my nails are in dire need of some moisture. It's a very oil based product so I only use it when I won't be touching anything for a long time because it takes a long while to sink in. I also use this on my heels, elbows and knees whenever I want to boost up their moisture levels too.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Night Cream:

This is a lovely night cream. It's thick but does not sit uncomfortably on the skin and when I wake up my face doesn't feel weighed down with product instead it feels well moisturized and it has sunk in well. I'd say unless you have very oily skin this would work pretty well for all skin types.

Khiel's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avacado:

I've not been using this one for very long but I've fast fallen in love with it. It's an extremely thick formula which takes only a tiny amount of product to cover  both under eyes. It becomes almost gel like in the way it sits on the skin after use and leaves you waiting for a little while before you're able to put make up on but the wait is very much worth it. I've found not only that the condition of my under eyes is much better since I've been using it but also that my makeup sits so much better and lasts so much longer too.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm:

I've had this for so long and I'm still so close to the top of the tub. It lasts forever and you need the tiniest amount. I try to limit myself to before bed and first thing in the morning when it comes to lip balms so my lips don't become immune to the product and this one is so lovely. It's helped to heal my lips from many a dry spell and I'd recommend giving it a go if you fancy treating yourself soon.

The Body Shop 3 for 2 Offer:

28.2.15

Who can resist an offer when it's on? Me either! I recently picked up a few bits and pieces in The Body Shop and thought why not show you now before it's too late for you to take advantage of the offer too?

First up is a product that was raved about by bloggers for almost the entirety of 2014. The All-In-One InstaBlur, this gel formula claims to smooth the skin out as well as balance out any redness or uneven skin tone. I've only used it a few times so far and I have to say I find the consistency a strange one, it takes some real work to get into the skin although once it's sunk into the skin it really does smooth everything out wonderfully. I'll keep using it and let you guys know how it works out in terms of evening out skin tone.

I also picked up a new blusher, this is not only my first powder blusher in a long time but also my first makeup product from The Body Shop. I'm very happy with this blusher in terms of the product itself, the consistency is really smooth and I like the fact it's a build-able product as opposed to it being too intense too soon. I'll definitely be picking up more colours but as for this one in particular (Flushed) is stunning! A warm toned pink with a very very subtle golden shimmer running through it. Don't be scared off by the shimmer it's very subtle and adds nothing but a glow to the face.

Last but not least I picked up the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil, this was another very popular product last year and I tried out the cleansing butter from the range which had a very popular review. I thought it was high time I gave the other one a go too. I'm yet to try it out since I'm still finishing off a few other cleansers at the moment but I'll be sure to let you know how it works out.

I hope you enjoyed this post, also did you take advantage of the offer? Let me know what you picked up!

Review: Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel:

7.2.15

I've featured this cleansing gel in a haul before but realised I had promised to update you all on it but never did. So better late than never I thought it was high time I gave it the full review it deserves.

This cleansing gel is bright orange out of the pump but melts into the skin completely when you rub it in. As soon as you begin to wash it off with water it turns into what I could almost describe as a white bubbly paste, it's very thick.

It has a very luxurious smell and works amazingly at taking every scrap of makeup off with minimum effort involved. It instantly melts away your makeup. When you wash it off you can feel that you have very clean and fresh skin, it doesn't leave a layer of oil or anything like that but you don't feel as though your skin has been stripped either.

All in all I would say that this a my dream cleanser, it doesn't break me out, removes makeup quickly and easily, feels luxurious and does great things for the skin. I would say that this is definitely worth treating yourself with whenever you fancy something a little more high end.

The Blemished Skincare Haul:

28.1.15

Lately my skin has gone into complete and utter meltdown, it was a stress reaction but luckily the stress I've been under is now fading I have however been left with some hideous skincare issues. To help tackle this I've have a little shop and got myself some skincare treats.

First up I picked up two LUSH face masks, I got Cosmetic Warrior and BB Seaweed, I've not used them much yet and I really better get around to it considering they're freshly made and have a sell by date.

From Botanics I picked up their All Bright Cleansing Toner which claims to cleanse impurities and freshen skin (I should hope so!) and the Micellar Ultra Calm 3 in 1 Cleansing Water which claims to to dissolve make up, unclog pores and remove impurities. I really hope these two products make a difference.

Lastly I went to The Body Shop and picked up a new face wash. I got the tea tree skin clearing facial wash, I know tea tree is really good for treating spots and I hope this one does the trick.

That's all I got for now and I really do hope it works, if you're interested then I'll be happy to do some follow up reviews.

To Use in 2015:

7.1.15

I love my beauty products you guys know that, I'm also a huge shop-a-holic (you guys know that too), but with a lot of shopping comes a lot of hoarding and neglected beauty products. Every now and again I do a reshuffle of my beauty drawers and bring the older stuff to the top and try to get as much use out of them as possible before they need to go in the bin. With that in mind here are a few products I want to make the effort to use in 2015.

Revlon lipstick in Wine Not. I love this lipstick and always have, but it's only now I'm getting brave enough to actually use it day to day.

Accessorize blusher in Bombshell, I raved about this blush all throughout Summer as I'm sure some of you remember. Now it's going to be getting warmer again I want to get as much use as is possible out of this because it's beginning to get old.

Soap & Glory Puffy Eye Attack is something I picked up in Summer. You get a lot more than you think you're buying with this product and it's taken me a long time to use it. It has a six month expiry though so I want to use this up so I wont be throwing money away.

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation. I love this foundation and it looks great on the skin but it's far far too pale for me. I may start using this as a base highlight because, again, I don't want to be throwing money away.

Last but not least is the Soap & Glory Mist You Madly body spritz, I've had this for well over a year now but it's still not been used up. I like a lot and luckily the smell hasn't gone with age but I never really travelled enough to take plastic bottles around with me instead of my usual glass perfumes, however now I'm going back and forth much more and it's really getting it's use.

That's all for this post and hopefully if I'm strict with myself you'll be seeing these products popping up in empties over the year.

Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Mask Review:

20.12.14

I bought this face mask ages and ages a go but it's only within the last month or so I've been using it on a regular basis. I have found it's been a real treat for the skin, especially come winter.

As it's a self-heating detox mask this is just what my skin needs at the moment. The fact it's heating is perfect for the Winter months and the fact it's detoxing is perfect for the amount of junk food I've been eating lately which has really broken my skin out.

It's a very strange product to use as it's white as you rub it into the face, but after rubbing in some water as the instructions say it becomes bright blue and heats up quite intensely, so if you're not a fan of that feeling you will not like this product. I wouldn't say it's ever gone completely hard and dry on my skin like a typical face mask it does get firmer though.. The strangest part for me is that once you wash it off your skin feels ice cold and almost minty and tingly for a good ten minutes afterwards. This may well be a placebo but it really does feel as though dirt and oil have been sucked out of your skin.

Have you been giving your skin a Winter pamper lately? Let me know what you've been using!

Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial:

18.12.14

I featured this in my second Space.N.K haul but I've only just got around to using it. I was actually surprised by how oil based this product was and I'll admit that when I pumped this out into my hand to use for the first time I had a little panic. I assumed that it would be far too oily for my skin and break me out. It actually didn't luckily and I have to say I've really fell in love with it despite the fact that I've only been using it for about a week.

When you first use it it is extremely oily and you think it's going to be all to much but continue to do as the instructions say and give yourself a proper facial and keep massaging and you'll literally feel the oil sink into your face. You'll still be oily as you go to bed but since anyone you'll see before bed you should be comfortable enough with to see you like that you should be fine.

I've never had a facial before but this product has genuinely made me wan't one because I feel so pampered whenever I use it. I remember the fist time I used it I was demanding that everyone I knew touched my face as it had never felt so soft. I also remember waking up and seeing that almost all of my spots had gone down hugely! I'd say this is a perfect pamper product for Winter as it'll really look after your skin.

It contains Vitamin A, Vitamin E and Vitamin C along with many oils that'll give your skin a real treat, it's certainly a treat retailing at £45!

First Impressions: Botanics Purifying Face Scrub:

29.11.14

I picked this up a hell of a long time a go but never had a chance to start using it before I finished off all the products I was midway through. I've recently opened it and gave it ago, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked.

The grains in the product are very fine and make my face feel very clean. As for the purifying and brightening claims it makes I'd really say it does make a difference. I've found it brightens my skin in the way it looks like a glow comes from within as opposed to oily.

I'd recommend this for any skin type as I switch between skin types very often and have never had an issue or reaction. With oily skin it seems to help break down the oil leaving you with a clean surface, with dry skin it smoothes everything away and with spotty or spot prone skin it actually seems to soothe them into healing faster. All in all I'd say (for a product that in all honesty I only bought as a quick filler to a hole in my routine whilst on holiday) this has really shone for me and I'd probably already consider a repurchase.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water Review:

11.11.14

If you saw my skincare routine post then you'll probably know how I use this products already. If not then I use this on nights when I haven't been wearing any make up, just to make sure my skin is really nice and clean before I go in with serums and moisturisers.

It claims to be fine even for sensitive skin, and to remove make up, cleanse and soothe in just one step. I have used it to remove make up before on very lazy days and it is good at it though it doesn't remove everything. It also doesn't feel as luxury as a gel or balm cleanser would, although for a micellar water I'd say that's to be expected. It would make a good step up if you're just using makeup wipes at the moment though.

As for how it works the way I use it, it's really good. It does soothe like it claims to and you really don't need to rinse as it says. Even though I wash my face every night it doesn't feel properly cleansed unless I swipe this over with a cotton pad as well. Even though it has no claims to I'd actually say this helps with blemishes too. The fact it cleans away the skin and soothes any sore patches makes it a good skincare product for all skin types from sensitive to oily and acne prone.

I'd definitely pick this up or a similar type of product as I've found it comes in really handy for lazy days and it's also nice and cheap for when I don't want to use up my higher end cleansing balms on days I don't have any make up.

Space.NK Haul 2!:

28.10.14

When an email popped into my inbox telling me I could get £10 off at Space.NK it was what tipped me over the edge after (no joke) months of scrolling through their website only to convince myself I didn't need anything and give in.  Well an hour or so after the email the damage had been done...

I completely blame Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup for this one! After hearing her rave one too many times about how amazing the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel was and with my Emma Hardie cleansing balm on it's last legs I took the plunge. According to the packaging it's packed full of lovely vitamins and minerals which should help my skin since it's been so troublesome lately.

The Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial is another one I have Anna to thank for. Again she had me desperate to try this out after hearing her talk about it. I really trust her opinion since not only is her skin amazing but she's always honest about the pros and cons of products. I'll have to see how this one goes once my current serum runs out.

The Keihl's creamy eye treatment is something I ummed and ahhed about for a while. After all it is very expensive for such a tiny product, but then I thought I've got such sore eyes lately I should give it a go it may be what fixes them. I'll definitely let you guys know how this one works out because if it doesn't it'll be money down the drain!

I also was sent some freebies to try out. I can't really talk to much about these since I don't really know much about them and I didn't choose to buy them. I was sent the Radical Bee Venom Moisturiser, Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser and Revive Glycolic Peel. Who know's maybe the full sizes will be in my next haul!

Skincare Routine 2014:

11.10.14

My Skincare routine last year fast became one of my most popular posts and since everything in there has now changed I thought it was time to update. I'll put a link to the last one here, just in case you wanted to compare.

My skin type is very temperamental, skipping from sensitive to oily to dry to spotty to perfectly clear all the time so there should be something in here perfect for everyone.

I'll start with my morning routine and then move on to the night time.

In terms of facewash I used to use this one all the time when I was younger so when the time came to purchase a new one I wanted to give this another go. The Soap & Glory Face Soap & Clarity 3 in 1 Daily Detox facial wash, may be a mouthful but it's packed full of vitamins and detoxifying properties that always help clear up any troublesome areas and leave my skin feeling squeaky clean and fresh.

After facewash I use a toner, the one I'm loving at the moment it the Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz. Not only is the smell of this amazing and relaxing but it feels great on the skin too. I find it not only soothes your skin with the organic properties in it but also helps wake you up in the morning as it's a cool spritz. If you find your skin needs something to calm it down after a wash in the morning then I would really recommend this.

In terms of day moisturisers I've been using the seaweed mattifying day cream. This is an absolute Godsend when my skin becomes oily it helps matte out the skin perfectly and dry out the spots that need it but without completely dehydrating your skin.

After face cream I follow up with an eye cream (morning and night). I always felt that I was too young for eye creams even though eyes have always been a problem area for me in terms of dryness which leaves concealer looking awful under my eyes. This has made a world of difference it's a gel like formula and so soaks in really fast and soothes the sore and dry skin under my eyes instantly, I've also I people commenting on the fact the bags under my eyes have really faded since I started using this.

I'll also apply my Nuxe Reve de Miel morning and night too as a finishing touch to my skincare. I try not to apply lip balm too much because your lips can become reliant on them but I find that this is thick and conditioning enough that it lasts all day and so you know your lips are moisturised and taken care of all day so you don't need to keep topping up.

Moving on to night time routine. If I haven't been wearing any make up that day then I'll go in with the Garnier Micellar Water on a cotton pas to help take the day off. It's very fresh, soothing and quick to use and makes my skin feel nice and clear at the end of the day. You can  pick this up really cheap in supermarkets if it's something you're looking to try out.

When I am wearing make up then I will give my skin a proper cleanse. The Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm is a blogger favourite that I refused to buy for a long time due to the price tag but sometimes you just have to cave in and treat yourself (something I perhaps do a little too often). I've done a first impressions on this before where I went into much more detail about the ingredients and experience of using it. What I will say here though is that if you want your skin to feel both clean and well moisturised then definitely think of giving this a go next time you fancy a splurge. It's very luxurious feeling.

Serum is what I apply after cleansing, this is another thing I felt I was too young for but believe me you're never too young to start taking some serious care of your skin. This Vitamin E Moisture Serum from The Body Shop I actually really didn't like when I first got it, but it turns out I was just using far too much of it. I've now cut down to just half a pump and I think that's perfect it sinks in fast and makes my skin feel well nourished but not oily.

On top of that I'll use the corresponding night cream from the range. I really like to amp up the moisture at night and this does just that. It's very thick and moisturising and lasts overnight. My skin always feels lovely in the morning and I go to bed feeling very pampered.

Once a week (unless I feel like I need more) I'll use a scrub instead of a facewash. I do this on a Wednesday. The scrub I'm using at the moment is the Botanics Purifying Face Scrub All Bright. This has really fine particles and not only helps remove dead skin cells but really makes you feel as though your skin is ten times better and has some blood flow to it. It truly does brighten the face too making you feel fresh and clean. I like to do it in the middle of the week because it gives you a nice boost midweek when you can be feeling a bit run down. As well as this I use the Lush Mint Julips lip scrub which is a sugar scrub. Not only does it taste amazing (think after eight mints) but it really gets any dry skin off your lips so well.

Also once a week but this time over the weekend  I like to do a face mask. Lately I'm really into purifying masks like this No Clogs Allowed one by Soap & Glory. This is a really interesting mask. You rub it over your face then wet your hands and rub that into your face which makes the mask turn blue and heat up. It goes really hot and you can feel the warm doing good, spreading through your face and opening up your pores. After five minutes you wash your face which afterwards feels super soft and cool. You can see almost instantly how much cleaner your face looks. If you're having a bad skin phase then I would definitely recommend giving this a go.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it helped you out a little. As I'm now a working woman I'm thinking of trying out some more high end skin care as the things I'm using at the moment run out. Not that these products aren't good but its always nice to try more things when you can afford to. So please do let me know in the comments if you've any recommendations.

First Impressions: Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm:

6.9.14

Since lately I seem to be bringing back my old style posts I thought it was time I did a first impressions. I'm late on the band wagon with this cleanser as it is so it was time to give it a go. The smell is so nice! It's very refreshing and herbal. You can smell it as soon as you open the pot and you instantly feel like your skin is in for a treat.

As for the application of the product itself, you're supposed to take a small amount and rub it together on your fingertips with some water to create a cream then rub it into your face until you feel the make up lift from you face. I've only used this twice so far but I've found that compared to other cleansers I've used it takes much longer and you have to work it into the skin more.

Nonetheless when you do get the make up off it really does come off, there's not a trace on there. Your skin is also left feeling very looked after and smooth. The beneficial ingredients listed are:

"Moringa seeds, Wild sea fennel and vitamin E to balance, purify and minimise the appearance of open pores, whilst a blend of uplifting orange, neroli and mandarin extract combined with calming jasmine and rose to revitalise, dull dry, dehydrated and mature skin".

I don't know yet about all the claims it makes since I've only just started using it, but if you would like me to I'll do an updated review when I've been using it for longer. What I will say is that so far my skin has been feeling much softer and smoother and well looked after. This cleansing balm comes with quite a big price tag so it's definitely a treat.

Have you been using it too? Or do you think your cleanser is better? Let me know in the comments and I hope to see you all soon.

Review: Nspa Coconut Body Set:

23.8.14

I bought this set a long time ago but it's taken me a while to get through it because of all the products I had. The set includes a rich body butter, a shower and bath gel and a daily refresh shower scrub.

I worked through the scrub the fastest, although I have a sneaking suspicion that my family have helped me getting through. It had plenty of particles in it but they didn't seem very scrubby. They're very good for refreshing your skin and getting the blood flowing but less good if you want to actually scrub off dead skin cells.

The shower gel was very nice and very strong smelling, I used it not only as a shower gel but also as a bubble bath. It made lots and lots of sweet smelling long lasting bubbles and made my skin feel really clean and soft.

As for the body butter it had a good balance between thick and moisturising but light and able to sink into the skin straight away so you're not left feeling sticky and left unable to put your clothes on for a while. This too left my skin feeling very soft and well looked after.

All three products claim to be full of natural vitamins good for the skin and they really must be because I have to say whilst using the set my skin felt so soft that I can't remember it ever feeling so good, the scent also lingered well in between washes. The coconut scent is lovely for summer but there are plenty of other scents available and I'll definitely be tempted to try them out now I've finished these.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you've got any other skin care suggestions then please do let me know.

Review: The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisturiser's:

21.8.14

As the massive fan of The Body Shop that I am I'm sure you won't be surprised to know they make up most of my skincare routine. I've tried their moisturisers before and they've never disappointed me.

I went for the Vitamin E cream because Vitamin E is just a great skin vitamin all round. Both the day cream and the night cream are amazing and do absolute wonders for my skin.

The day cream is a very light formula but you can still feel that it moisturises the skin. It sinks in as soon as you rub it into the face so if you wanted to you could start putting your make up on straight away. It is very moisturising which is very good considering it is marketed as a moisture cream. After using it there's not a dry patch of skin to be felt and everything feels very soft and smooth. If you don't have any problems in particular with your skin or perhaps a little dryness then I'd definitely recommend picking this up.

The night cream is marketed as nourishing, which is certainly true. When waking up having put it on the night before your skin genuinely does feel like it's been really well looked after . It is a much thicker formula than the day cream but it's still fairly light and sinks in well to the skin. Not that this has anything at al to do with how well the product works but I also love the fact it's a cute baby pink colour.

All in all I'd say that the body shop skincare is pretty much as close to perfect as you can get. They've a wide range for every skin type and their products don't break the bank. But what do you think? Let me know if there's any amazing brands or products I've been missing out on!

Review: The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter:

16.8.14

I've been using this cleanser for a fair while now and it's yet to disappoint me so I thought it had earned a review. First of all the packaging, as with all The Body Shop products is lovely. (Although just to point out it's a screw top don't make the same mistake I did and spend a good ten minutes trying it pry it open before someone points it out).

It also smells amazing very true to camomile, and so very calming, perfect for before bed. As with most cleaning butters you scoop some out and rub over the make up on your face and it will break down into oil and melt the make up away. This is a very oily product but I find that once you've washed it away and dried off your face then all you're left with is soft feeling and very pampered skin. There's no film left on your face. Not only this but it is amazing at removing make up effortlessly, you don't need to stand there for hours scrubbing away or double cleanse. The product glides through even waterproof mascara and the brightest of lipsticks as if they aren't even there.

A little goes a long way too just take a small amount onto your fingertips and you should be able to cover your whole face, this combined with the fact it's fairly purse friendly at just £12 compared to the likes of Clarins or Emma Hardie means that you're getting an amazing value product that will last you a long time for highstreet prices. Add to this the fact that The Body Shop almost always have some form of discount or deal I wonder why you aren't running to your nearest store right now! If you're worried about it being too oily for your skin then don't as I said it leaves no oily film or residue, it's marketed for all skin types and even oily skin needs some nourishment every now and again. I highly recommend this product and am struggling to find any flaws, so if you use it too or have anything to try next then please do let me know in the comments. I hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you all on Tuesday!

Healing Hands; Hand Cream, Cuticle Butter & Nail Strengthener:

12.8.14

I think it's very important to look after your hands, after all they do show age well and in my opinion to look after your hands shows that you look after yourself.

The Vaseline healthy hands and stronger nails handcream contains both keratin and stratys which are very moisturising. I find that it sinks in fairly quickly and makes your hands feel very soft and well looked after. I can't describe the smell but it's really refreshing. I'll admit there's nothing extra special about this handcream that makes me want to yell about it from the rooftops but it does what it was made to do and for that I'll keep using it.

This Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter (is not only fun to say but also) is amazingly moisturising. The texture is a little strange it's almost bitty when you take some out but as you rub it in the bits seem to disappear and melt into the skin. It's things like that which confirm to you just how much time and effort LUSH go into with hand making all their products. The tiniest little dab of this and you can do every cuticle on your hand a little goes an extremely long way. It can be used for more than just your cuticles it can be used on any extremely dry areas of skin. It does leave an oily residue on the skin which sinks in over time, personally I like that especially before bed as it makes you feel nice and pampered. Last but not least the lemon scent is incredible!

Rimmel bought out their Nail Nurse range a while a go and my mum went crazy for it buying, I think, every product in the range. The Nail Rescue nail hardening treatment is my favourite. It lasts 14 days, you apply a coat for the first two days of both weeks then spend the rest of the days letting it work its magic, sinking into the nails. I'll admit I don't quite know how it works but the more I grow my nails and paint them the thinner and more flimsy I found them, whereas know I feel like they're so much stronger and less likely to break.

That's all for this post I hope you enjoyed it, please do let me know in the comments if you did and also if you have any requests for review or other posts.
