It's that time again, the pile of empty bottles and tubes hidden away in my room began to be too big to hide away so I figured it's time for empties number seven! 

The first thing I used up was this dry shampoo from Batiste. It's the one for brown hair which is best for me as I find that all of their other dry shampoo's are far too grey toned and don't fade no matter how much you rub them in.  

One product I've finally used up is the Loreal EverSleek serum. I say finally because this product has lasted for years! It was actually one of the very first things I reviewed. It's not a bad thing that it's lasted so long because you need so little product and it goes such a long way and lasts all day. Both me and my sister used this for years and it's finally run out. I'd definitely pick this up again if I needed a new serum. 

This is another product that has taken me an age to work through mainly because I don't use much heat in my hair. I'm not too sure whether I'd pick up this VO5 heat protectant up again though because it's quite a sticky texture and made my hair feel quite dirty most of the time.

This primer has a full review up already so I'll not go into too much detail just to say that I hugely recommend it if you have any pores or fine lines or dry skin that you feel need smoothing out before putting foundation on.

This Carbon Black mascara from GOSH is a bit of a disappointing product for me actually. I found it got dry almost instantly and left big black smudges and flakes under my eyes. I definitely wouldn't pick this one up again.

I really miss using this Vitamin E serum from the body shop. I found it did my skin so much good and never left me feeling too oily once I had figured out how much my skin needed. I've since moved on to a different serum but I would definitely buy this one again.

This Vaseline healthy hands and stronger nails cream was one of the first things I put into my empties box after finishing the last post. I remember really loving the smell and finding that it sunk into my hands fairly fast. Again this is something I have others of at the moment but would consider purchasing again.

Empties #6

I've been saving up my empties again! 

First up is the Radox muscle soak bubble bath. As it's been getting more and more cold lately I've been having a lot more baths that showers also as I'm quite a stressy person and have been doing a lot more excersize lately  anything that's going to ease my muscles is fine by me. I'd really recommend this if you fancy a pamper evening but don't want to fork out crazy money. The smell is so calming too with clary sage and sea minerals.

This St. Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating scrub was part of last years skincare routine (which shows just how long it takes me to collect up empties). I did like it but I probably wouldn't buy it again because I really want to try out a chemical scrub as opposed to one that doesn't literally scrub off your skin. However, it's a nice cheap highstreet brand if you're looking for something to start off your first proper skincare routine with.

The Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing balm has to be one of the most raved about products ever amongst bloggers. I caved into the hype and before long I'd completely used it up. It's very moisturising and calming, does an amazing job at clearing up makeup. My skin didn't have a bad reaction to it and felt very well treated after each cleanse. What can I say it was an amazing product. I probably wouldn't buy it again any time soon however since I'm trying out some new cleansers. Also I wasn't pleased with how fast it got used up considering the high price tag I felt they could have given you more product.  Read more about the product here.

Now here's a product you've all heard me talk about a million times before. For that reason I won't go into any more detail about this but I'll leave you a link here. I probably wouldn't buy this product again either because as much as I love it I feel the winds of change calling me and want to try out something new.

Not many bloggers include deodorant in their empties but it's a beauty product in a way and it's something I've used up.  Right Guard Women Xtreme Dry in Fresh Control is quite possibly the best deodorant I've ever used. I know that sounds strange but I never sweat or feel unclean when I'm wearing it. For that reason I would 100% buy this again.

Pantene ProV shampoo and conditioner in Smooth & Sleek are the products I go to whenever I want to give my hair a treat. Since I don't really was my hair very often (which if you think sounds disgusting there's an explanation here) I don't really want to be spending lots of money on highend shampoos and conditioners. So this is a nice high quality product at a low end price tag. It's super softening and will leave your hair looking nice and shiny.

Empties #5:

Another series that hasn't been updated for a long time! This time it's empties.

My first empty I wont talk too much about because its got a review all to itself. What I will say is that it's a lovely refreshing spray so you could use it for morning but at the same time it has a very soothing and relaxing feel and smell to it so you could use it at bed time too. It makes a nice treat for your skin and I would definitely repurchase it. 

This perfume was a present, Next Diamonds was a very strong sweet girly fragrance which when I first smelt I thought oh no I'm not going to like this but the more I smelt it the more I enjoyed wearing it. It lasted all day and I got loads of compliments when I wore it. So would I repurchase? I'm not sure, I do like it and would wear it again but there's so many perfumes I'd like to try out first that I think it would be in the distant future for now.

A nice cheap and cheerful set of products now. You guys know how much I love nspa for there quality and amazing prices. Both this Raspberry and Clementine moisturisers were amazing and nice and rich and moisturising. The smells were great too so I would definitely repurchase.

This is another skin care product that has had its own review. If you read it then you'll remember how much I raved about it, I wont go into too much detail again because the post wasn't that long ago but I will say this...BUY IT! I wouldn't say that lightly because I wouldn't want to cause any of your skin damage but it is so good and will remove that make up super quick! I would 100% repurchase this.

Lastly is this rather tatty looking mascara from Collection. It's the Super Size Fat Lash mascara, I wouldn't say it did any of those things at all! If anything it lengthened and separated my lashes which was nice but certainly not what I wanted from it. I would maybe repurchase it at a push but there's definitely better mascaras out there.

Empties #4:

It's that's time again. I've letting my empty bottles and tubes build up and now it's time to give you some little reviews of the products I've finished up.

First things first this is the Beauticology shower gel in Cherry Candy Cane. If you saw my Christmas post then you'll know I got this for Christmas. I'm glad I did because it lathers up so nicely and makes really nice soft feeling bubbles, which leaves your skin super soft. The smell is amazing too, I'm not quite sure where the candy cane comes in to it but you can really smell the cherry. If you like cherry bakewells then you'd love it because it smells exactly the same.

The next thing is the Rimmel Match Perfection. This has been flying around people's blogs and Youtube channels of late and I know why. It replaced my 2 or 3 year long love for Healthy Mix, which I do still love but prefer this at the moment. It has such a good coverage and gets rid of any redness or darker areas, but is super light weight in feeling and leaves a nice dewy effect to the skin. The only negative is that you can't use it for photography because it has an SPF in it. I would definitely repurchase this though.

Another part of the Beauticology set I got for Christmas was the Pink Peppermint body lotion, I used this all over my body and then towards the end of its use when I had started to move on to other moisturisers I kept it by my bed to use as a hand cream at night. The smell was very true to the name a sweet peppermint, and it felt very cooling so you could use it on your feet too. It was a very thin consistency and so doesn't moisturise too well but it sinks in nicely.

This next product featured in a very old post of mine (here) and I've finally worked my way through it all. You should all know by now that I'm a huge Soap & Glory fan and the Heel Genius foot cream is no exception. Everything I said in the other post about loving it and it doing my feet wonders still stands, and I think it would be nice to pick up now it's getting warmer too because I don't know about you but I'm on my feet much more in Summer than any other time of the year.

Last but not least comes this Garnier Fresh Essential Refreshing Gel Wash. This had it's own first impressions and I said there that I would give it a more indepth review when I'd used it all up. I still love the smell and the fact it made my skin feel really fresh and clean. However, on the other hand, I didn't like the fact it sometimes dried out my face a little and made my skin feel quite tight.  It claims to have purifying agents which I do agree with but to a little bit too much of an extent for me to use everyday. I probably would repurchase this but only to use every other day or so to clarify my skin.

Empties #3

It's time for another empties post. I've been collecting these products for so long so I'm finally glad I feel like I have enough to warrant a post so I can throw them all away.

The first of the lot is Strawberry Swirl shower gel from beauticology. I got this as part of a set for Christmas, the smell was very nice but a little too sweet and sickly. It smelt more like strawberry sweets than strawberries themselves. Although it did leave my skin feeling nice and clean and very soft. The product lathered up really nicely into fresh feeling foam.

This product I have been working through for longer than I can remember. It's the Collection 2 in 1 Strengthener and Base Coat and when I first go it it was amazing it coated my nails really well and stopped my nails yellowing and cracking, but as it got older it got really thick and stringy and made my nails look really ugly underneath nail varnishes because it was so gloopy and applied really unevenly.

If you have followed my blog for a long time then I'm sure you recognise this little pot of wonders. I stayed in love with Carmex from the very first time I opened it to the very last time I used it until it was totally empty. It works amazingly for transforming sore and dry lips into soft healthy ones. I 100% recommend this to all of you.

The Seaweed Mattifying Daycream from The Body Shop was an absolute god send when my skin went through the worst oily phase it ever had last year. I was able to feel it instantly making a difference to my skin every single day when I put it on and it kept my foundation from looking oily and gross all day too. As well as this it also moisturised my skin too as opposed to just drying it out. Although I tried to carry on using this after my skin stopped being oily and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for use if you have normal skin because then it did make my face feel quite tight.

I've always been a fan of the Pantene Pro-V range in particular the smooth and sleek edition because my hair can tend to be a little frizzy. However, this completely saved my scalp when I used a shampoo and conditioner that certainly didn't agree with me leaving my head feeling sore and itchy (which I'm sure you can imagine was not pleasant). After just one use of this my scalp felt instantly better and soothed! For that reason alone I love, love, love it.

A little bit of a random one now, and certainly not beauty related - although I still stand by the fact it has helped clear up my skin countless times. It's fruit tea. I really like the taste of fruit tea plus the fact I know it's good for me and packed full of anti-oxidants, this one in particular was the first ever fruit tea I tried. The Diplomat refreshing Berry Fruits. I've been through many a box of these and I just thought I'd share them with you because they're one of my favourites.

Empties #2

Superdrug Provitamin Shampoo & Conditioner:

I have to admit I can be a real snob when it comes to shampoo and conditioner and I'm very much in the mindset that the more expensive and high end the brand the better, but this shampoo and conditioner is absolutely amazing. You've probably noticed that the packaging of this is very similar to that of the Pantene Pro V shampoo and conditioner, and that's not when the similarity ends. The consistency and results of the products are amazingly similar. I have the Thermal Protect versions here and they're amazing they leave my hair feeling smooth and looking shiny. I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this product, it's only ever done my hair a world of good and I would whole heartedly recommend it to all of you especially considering it's just over a pound in most stores and is often on offer in stores!

The Body Shop Born Lippy Balm:

This was a gift from my birthday (in May) and I was pleased to get it but I have to admit my expectations weren't too high for it, but I was so wrong. This is the strawberry flavoured one and it smelled so so nice, like strawberry sweets. It was a really thick and creamy texture so I instantly knew that it was doing my lips good. I used this at the very beginning of putting my make up on and by the time I got to the end of my routine to put my lipstick on it had sank in nicely smoothing out any dry skin and keeping my lips nice and smooth. Sadly I couldn't use all of this before it completely broke out of it's packaging and as much as I tried to fix it because I really loved it, I had to say goodbye because it was just beyond fixing.

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter:

Another Body Shop product, which I'm sure will be no surprise to most of you considering how much I love the smell of coconut products as well as the Body Shop. It's easily one of my all time favourite shops. This was a very thick and moisturising body butter that, I've loved for many a year (this is probably my fourth tub of this product), as expected with Body Shop products it does wonders for you and is a product that really works and leaves your skin, looking, feeling and smelling fantastic. I really can't say much more about it in all honesty I just really love it and hope to try out lots more of the Body Shop body butters in the future.

Original Source Mint and Tea Tree shower gel:

I have to start with the packaging here, don't ask me why because I know there's nothing particularly special about it but I've always been really drawn into Original Source's packaging I think it looks so good. But on to the actual product itself, it was such a minty smell perfect for having a nice refreshing shower in the morning to get you up and ready for the day. When you scrubbed it into your skin you really felt and smelled clean as well as leaving you with a cool and slightly tingling feeling which really adds to the fresh and clean feeling. I'd maybe say that this is more of a summer shower gel though because it's more of a smell that I personally associate with summer than any other season but it's totally up to you of course. 

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle:

You've got to love Aussie, their products are always brilliant quality, and smell so good! I chose the conditioner for long hair because I was using this before I got my hair cut and I'm growing it out again. It's essentially an extra nourishing conditioner as longer hair is much more likely to get split ends than shorter hair. It really did nourish my hair and do it a lot of good, I always felt really pampered and looked after when I used this. I was always left with soft feeling and shiny hair so if you have hair that needs that little bit more of a treat then I would definitely suggest picking this or something similar up next time your'e shopping.

Clarins Wonder Perfect Mascara:

Last product now, and this ones a make up one. As I'm sure you can tell this is just the sample size but I used up every last scrap of it because it was just so damn good! I know it's got a bigger price tag than some lower end mascara's but I really do think it's worth it. I'd love the full size version. It thickens and lengthens your lashes so well but without it looking like you've got a crazy amount of make up on to the point where you look fake. In my opinion this mascara makes me look like I'm wearing false lashes, and long thick lashes is a look I love.

Empties #1:

This is going to be my first ever empties post and it's something I've wanted to do for a while, I was originally planning on talking about five products per post, but I'm such a neat freak that I just couldn't wait any any longer to finish another product and be able to chuck away the empty bottles that were cluttering up my dressing table!

Sally Hansen Nail Polish Remover - For Dry, Brittle Nails:

I really do like this remover, I find that it gets off nail varnish really quickly, including those stubborn glitter nail varnishes. As for this doing anything fr dry/brittle nails I do think it's made a slight difference in the quality of my nails, but I wouldn't say that it's been a life changing product which I rushed straight into the supermarket to repurchase when I've got plenty of other bottles rolling around in my nail collection. Overall though, I would recommend this product if you want something that will help take care of your nails and will really get rid of nail varnish instantly.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Serum:

I'm sure you're all bored of hearing me rave about this in pretty much every other post! So I won't go into too much detail here other than saying it's amazing! I'll leave you with this review, and tell you all I'm mourning the loss of it already. 

nspa Raspberry Milkshake bath and shower gel:

Again this is a product I've mentioned before. This one was in  my Monthly Favourites, so from that alone you already know I loved it. The smell is so true to it's name and it leaves you're skin feeling soft and smelling lovely whether you use it as a shower gel or a bubble bath.

Sure Clear Diamond Crystal Anti-Antiperspirant:

At the very beginning of using this product I loved it, it worked perfectly for my needs and stopped me sweating totally, there was no white marks on my clothes or anything it did exactly what an antiperspirant is supposed to do. But then, a few months into using it it just stopped working as an antiperspirant completely. I still had no white marks but it wasn't doing what it should be, I think my body got used to the chemicals in it so it didn't have the same effect as it used to. With that in mind I personally probably won't be buying it again but as a recommendation to you I'd say if you want to buy it then do, but maybe alternate it with other antiperspirants to make sure the effects don't wear off.
